The search for Asia’s Next Dragon continues into 2018 with 689Cloud taking home the Judge’s Choice award and WinMe was the people’s Fan Favourite at Echelon TOP100 Vietnam Qualifiers Roadshow today.
689Cloud, a local startup that provides cloud solutions to enhance business productivity, resiliency and continuity by allowing encryption and collaboration between their users won today’s pitching competition.
Vietnam has always been the market that everyone’s been talking about, as Jeffrey Nah of JN Capital and Growth Advisory mentioned during the panel discussion that technology has levelled the playing field in Vietnam. Everyone in Vietnam now has the chance to change the world and with the abundance of tech talent, every startup should start their business with the perspective of conquering the world from Day 1.
With no signs of slowing down Yen from Patamar Capital shared that opportunities in Vietnam is very big and there’s no signs of slowing down. And we saw that today during the pitching competition.
689 Cloud, a local startup that has won today’s pitching competition for Echelon TOP100 Vietnam Qualifiers.
689Cloud walks away with an exhibition booth at Echelon Asia Summit 2018 in Singapore on June 28th to 29th. They also won a free 6-month hot desk pass that can be used at any WeWork space within Southeast Asia. They will also receive some moolah in the pocket, taking home S$500 (US$380).
Winning the fan favourite vote at today’s competition was Winme by Wincorp, an online merchandise online shopping site, where intermediaries are there to support businesses, traditional traders or online merchants to have more ways to reach customers in need with their goods and services.
While these startups walk away with bragging rights and prizes, everyone was a winner in the pitching competition today as they were given the chance to pitch in front of potential investors, business partners and customers.
Startups pitching today will also receive a chance to attend Echelon Asia Summit 2018 as the top 100 startups after vetting their scores against all the startups pitching in 20+ countries during the Echelon TOP100 Qualifiers.
