Tommy Teo has previously held roles at KPMG Singapore, OCBC and the ABN AMRO Bank
Singapore-based and ASX-listed crowdfunding platform CoAssets has announced the appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Tommy Teo.
He takes over from Nick Bishop, who stepped down after the company’s Australian listing last month. Bishop will continue to assist with operations in CoAssets Australia office.
Teo will support CoAssets in its next phase of growth, which includes expanding investment offerings and plans to launch a regional debt fund.
Teo brings to the table an extensive set of financial experiences. He has held roles in Global Commodities Finance at Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation (OCBC), Commodity Portfolio Management at ABN AMRO Bank, Treasury Accounting at Cargill Asia Pacific Treasury Limited and Financial Services at KPMG Singapore.
“We are extremely pleased to welcome Tommy Teo to our management team. His skills, qualifications and experience will be invaluable as we continue to grow our business as an ASX-listed company,” said Getty Goh, CEO and Co-Founder of CoAssets, in a press statement.
Just last week, CoAssets partnered with the charitable arm of Singapore’s ruling party PAP to combat Zika and dengue in the country.
