“Our aim is to support and augment the growth of promising talent across the country. This investment helps us expand to hundreds of cities across India and beyond the typical metropolitan and tier I regions. We will provide millions of talent and casting professionals, with direct access to each other through TalentNext.com,” said Shekhar Purohit, CEO of TalentNext.
TalentNext connects all forms of talent (actors, models, dancers, musicians, voice overs artists, performers and others) to the casting community for films, TV shows, ad films, digital series, live events, theatre (performing arts) and other formats of entertainment. Talent can sign up for free and create a profile on the platform.
For a small monthly fee, users can also upgrade to a tiered membership model that allows unlimited access to casting opportunities, a higher level of status on trending or verified profile and additional storage for photos, videos, and audio files to the profile.
Speaking on what makes the investment so vital to the country’s talent search landscape, Karan Johar, one of India’s leading film-makers, said: “Talentnext.com allows a brilliant pool of fresh talent just waiting to be discovered for their next big break.”
