Through her viral blog post, Susan J. Fowler has inspired many to speak up against sexism in the workplace –and push a certain tech company to be accountable

On this year’s International Women’s Day, e27 would like to create a tribute to one woman who has been making headlines recently –thankfully, for the right reason.

Meet Susan J. Fowler, the self-described engineer-author-editor who uncovered sexism and sexual harassment during her time in ride-hailing giant Uber in a viral blog post.

The blog post has led Uber to launch an investigation, in which VP Amit Singhal was later let go after sexual harassment allegations against him surfaced.

The case has also led other survivors to speak up on their experience, and gives further justification for proponents of the #deleteuber movement.

In the latest update of the case, Fowler announced that she has secured the help of Baker Curtis & Schwartz law firm, which specialises in employment law.
