DentalTap, a cloud-based practice management platform for dental clinics, has announced its expansion into  Vietnam.

DentalTap, which is backed by Imperious Group VC and Vietnam Innovative Startup Accelerator (VISA), has presence in 20 countries across the globe, including Malaysia, Singapore, India, and the Philippines in Asia.

“…We chose Vietnam because it’s a good opportunity to be the first in the market. Most dental clinics and dentists in Vietnam haven’t heard about cloud software. It takes time to explain to them why cloud is better and more secure than desktop version apps which they are using now,” said Yaroslav Osetrov, CEO and Founder of DentalTap.

Founded in 2016, DentalTap helps dental clinics optimise all daily tasks like scheduling, treatment planning, billing, and file management. The platform works on all devices, including mobile phones, tablets, laptop, and PCs.

The startup has 300 customers in 20 countries across Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

DentalTap now plans to launch a portal for patients to make appointments with doctors, do price comparison for dental procedures in nearby clinics and make mobile payments.
