Dathena uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to protect data and manage privacy

Singapore-based Dathena, an AI-based data protection and privacy management platform, has announced the closing of a funding round led by MS&AD Ventures Inc. Participating in the round are existing investors CerraCap Ventures and Demetis.

Dathena said it will use the funding to support the global deployment of new customers. Later this year, the company plans to have another funding round to enable further scaling.

Dathena was founded by information risk management experts to help organisations manage their data privacy and protection needs. The company uses multi-patented Artificial Intelligence-powered technology called the Dathena 99 A.I. core engine.

Furthermore, Dathena’s products were built with Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning technologies that the company believes can prevent data loss and promote data privacy compliance by identifying, classifying, and protecting sensitive information comprehensively and accurately.
