‘Til death do us part…or entrepreneurship?
Fun (and I swear true) fact. My parents are successful spousepreneurs. They started a company in their mid-20s, had two kids, and sold the company in their mid-30s. Still together.
And yet, for most people the idea of starting a company with your loved-one sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. Either the company will implode, the relationship will explode (or both).

The most common pro-spouse argument I hear is this:
“We made a pact to stay together for the rest of our lives and this company gives us a passion and motivation to build something together”.
Good point.
The most common anti-spouse argument is as follows:
“I need my family to be my escape from the company, the place I go to find my center. Plus, we would end up murdering each other.”
The murder argument is especially poignant.
So, e27 community. What do you think?
