TOP100 has officially begun! It kicks off with a bang in Singapore this week before the e27 team travels all across Asia searching for the region’s best startup.

This year, we are proud to announce that Enterprise Singapore is sponsoring S$100,000 (US$74,000) worth of Startup SG grants to be split between the two best TOP100 startups. Each grant is worth S$50,000 (US$37,000) and the two winners will additionally be fast-tracked to compete at the 2019 SLINGSHOT competition in November.

Enterprise SG is looking for startups that show business differentiation, management team quality, scalability and market potential. The agency is particularly keen on startups in the following sectors:

  • BioTech and MedTech
  • Consumer Products and Services
  • Media and Advertising
  • Retail
  • FinTech and InsurTech
  • FoodTech and AgriTech
  • Manufacturing
  • Logistics and Transportation
  • Urban Solutions and Sustainability

This year’s TOP100 pitching competition will include a unique perk for the startups involved: it will be conducted in private!

The logic is to allow startups to get into the nitty-gritty without worrying about revealing too many details to the public.

TOP100 is expecting over 500 applications from regional neighbours such as Kuala Lumpur to more faraway countries such as Mongolia.

The companies that win their local competition will be fast tracked to participate in the TOP100 pitching competition at Echelon Asia Summit 2019.

Then, two winners will walk away with S$50,000 (US$37,000) in Startup SG grants and other fantastic prizes, as well as receive a fast track pass to the 2019 SLINGSHOT competition in November.
