Jakarta-based fashion and beauty app LYKE today announced Indonesian pop star Agnez Mo as its co-founder and Chief Creative Officer.

Starting out her career as a child singer and actress, she has had more than 20 years of experience in the music, TV, and fashion industry, and has recently launched her first album targetted at international audience.

In a press statement, Agnez Mo explained that she first met LYKE Co-Founder & CEO Bastian Purrer in 2016, when she was already working on her clothing line ANYE.

She explained building and scaling LYKE as “the perfect opportunity to feed her entrepreneurial spirit while leveraging technology to make a profound impact on the lives of many.”

Launched in February 2016, LYKE is an aggregator app for fashion and beauty stores that enables users to discovers products from various online stores in just one app. It also offers personalised service that allows users to follow their favourite shops and brands.

Available for Android and iOS devices, LYKE claimed to have reached almost two million downloads combined.

The platform also introduced an image search feature together with the announcement of its new co-founder.
