Because the best way to pay tribute to one of the world’s richest businessman is to go under the knife to look like him

Meet Huang Jian, Jack Ma’s No 1 fan

For many aspiring entrepreneurs or salesmen, one way to show admiration for icons in the field such as Apple’s Steve Jobs and Amazon’s Jeff Bezos is to read relevant books, articles, or watch keynotes, to get a glimpse of how their successes came to be.

But for Huang Jian, a salesman in China and ardent fan of Alibaba’s Jack Ma, he has demonstrated appreciation in a rather unorthodox fashion — going under the knife to look like Ma.

A report by China Daily stated that he spent RMB 1 million (US$145,000) in a plastic surgery clinic in South Korea, with the dream that one day, he will be able to meet Ma in the flesh.

It is not known at which stage of the transformation phase Jian was at when the photo above was taken, but it looks like there are is still much work to be done if he wants to look like this:

But more importantly, will Jian have the same fire in his belly and iron will to succeed against all odds in the same manner Jack Ma did? Now that, I’m afraid there’s no surgeon in the world who can fix this.
