Seedstars Jakarta co-organises the event with startup ecosystem builder Kibar, with support from the Angel Investor Network Indonesia and Gaharu Activation

Global seed-stage startup competition Seedstars World today announced the eight startups that are set to pitch at the Seedstars Jakarta pitching event on September 16 in Central Jakarta.

At the pitching event, the eight startups will compete to represent the country at the Regional and Global Seedstars Summits, and to win up to US$1 million in equity investments.

The following are the list of the shortlisted startups:

1. Asura
A platform that allows customers and businesses to get insurance coverage and manage their active policies.

2. Ayoslide
An Android lock screen ad service with real prizes for winners.

3. DuitTurbo
The platform processes thousands of data points from customers’ phones to very quickly predict their creditworthiness and channel smaller loans to them.

4. Lacak Cipta Aktual
The startup provides fleet and asset management monitoring solutions to both traditional and tech-based logistics companies.

5. PopLegal
An online platform for legal document creation and company incorporation.

6. Sayurbox
A tech-supported fresh produce distribution platform sourcing directly from producers and delivering to customers.

7. Shipper
An integrated logistic aggregator platform that provides pricing comparison and shipping order generation to logistic companies.

8. Vestifarm
An agriculture investment platform that helps anyone to invest easily and affordably to local farmers.

Seedstars Jakarta co-organises the event with startup ecosystem builder Kibar, with support from the Angel Investor Network Indonesia (ANGIN) and Gaharu Activation.

At the pitching event, the startups will be judged by a panel of jury that consists of Venkat Narayan (Aavishkaar), Thomas Diong (Sale Stock), David Soukhasing (ANGIN), Ratidya Pramana (Venturra Capital), Aulia Masna (Kibar), and Michael Weber (Seedstars).

Previously, Indonesia was represented by Kostoom, a mobile app that connects fashion entrepreneurs to local tailors.
