Kata.ai launches platform to help startups create their own chatbots

Indonesian artificial intelligence startup Kata.ai on Tuesday launched Kata Bot, a platform that aims to help developers in startups, SMEs, and large enterprises to create and deploy their own chatbots. The platform provides developers with “basic production-grade framework that integrates complexity, organisation, infrastructure, and machine learning from the get-go”; it claims to ease developers by handling the discourse management, channel management, and natural language processing components of building a chatbot.

“When we first began developing this, we could see that among the various existing bot frameworks, there was no ‘one-size-fits-all’ solution. We wanted to simplify that for developers so that they could spend more of their time and skills on creating the best user experience possible,” said Kata.ai CTO Ahmad Rizqi Meydiarso.
