With the foresight to understand how coming generations work, Bangalore-based CoWrks has created a balance between work and play
CoWrks is a new kid on the block in the Indian co-working space.
Launched in this August by RMZ Corp’s Sidharth Menda, this Bangalore-based startup has opened its doors to a homogenous mix of people — from Fortune 500 companies, small-scale enterprises, startups to a pool of freelancers, independent professionals and entrepreneurs.
In its palatial 160,000-square feet facility, CoWrks can house 3,000-plus members. The members get to grow within a collaborative network.
Completing the member experience is an exhaustive host of amenities that one can pick and choose from, in accordance with their needs.
The startup is now gearing up for the launch of its next centre in the city, after which centres in Gurgaon and Mumbai will follow by early 2017.
With the foresight to understand how coming generations work, CEO Menda has created a balance between work and play. It is now planning to establish over 300 centres across the globe.
With a keen focus on core real estate acquisition and opportunistic development across a multitude of asset classes, viz., offices, hospitality and residential, Menda is on a quest to change the face of shared office spaces.
With a fervour for real estate and technology, he observed that there is a huge disconnect between corporate workspaces and the modern workforce — which primarily comprises millennials.

An orthodox outlook has resulted in the lack of inspiration, innovation and collaborative thinking.
This drove Menda to design co-working spaces that foster a community of like-minded individuals who would not only build business relationships with each other but also connect on a social level.
The plans start at INR 8,499 (US$128) per month and can go up to INR 20,999 (US$195) per month
