Fifty-plus workstations, large events area, conference rooms, networking area, cafeteria and pantry are some of the facilities offered by India-based advantEdge
advantEdge is an early-stage VC fund-cum-startup incubator in Noida (India) that supports passionate entrepreneurs and companies with a strong growth potential.
While the VC fund has been operational for a year and a half, the incubation programme was just recently launched. The call for applications for the inaugural programme has just gone out.
It is a six-month-long programme, which is open all year round. Startups can apply at any stage of their lifecycle, but avantEdge typically prefers pre-funded companies.
Startups get access to world-class infrastructure, including 10,000-plus square foot facility with 50-plus workstations, large events area, conference and meeting rooms, networking area, cafeteria, pantry, high-speed internet access, video conference facility, projectors, televisions, telecom, printer, scanner and photocopier.
These are in addition to on-call support services, preferential pricing and free credits from its vast partner network.
Unlike most other programmes, advatEdge’s incubatee intake is on a rolling basis, which allows it to focus individually on each startup’s requirements, rather than push a commercially-minded common programme for everyone.
A sector-agnostic programme, AdvantEdge picks five to eight per cent equity from each incubatee startup.
The VC fund has backed startups such as Shuttl, Tripoto, TrulyMadly, OnlineTyari, ScoopWhoop, Wigzo, Rapido, and CoHo, amongst others.
