Previously, Qlue raised more than US$1 million Series A funding round by Prasetia Dwidharma and Juvisk
Indonesian smart city platform Qlue today announced that it has raised a funding from GDP Venture, according to a DailySocial report.
Though the value was undisclosed, the report stated that the funding round was “the biggest” the company has ever raised.
Its most recent funding round was a more than US$1 million Series A by Prasetia Dwidharma and Juvisk, which was announced in May 2016.
The company plans to use the funding for product development, talent acquisition, and “strengthening” the company’s smart city portfolio.
Qlue is a platform that enables citizen to file complaints on public services to government officials; apart from reporting, users are also able to monitor and give performance review on the work that has been done.

Starting out in Jakarta as the country’s capital city, the service is now available in at least 10 cities in Indonesia.
A graduate of the Google Launchpad Accelerator programme, Qlue also offers B2B services for property developers to implement smart city technology in their properties.
The platform has been involved in a controversy when a group of neighbourhood heads filed a petition to the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) to discontinue the use of Qlue in filing financial reports to the government.
On Thursday, DPRD announced that neighbourhood heads are no longer obliged to file their financial report through the Qlue platform.
Qlue has also given an early stage investment in Nodeflux, an IOT company.
