MTW19 will feature a whole week of industry talks, workshops, business matching, breakout tracks and exhibitions

Malaysia Tech Week 2019 is a city-wide festival of industry-driven events that will take place from 17th to 21st June this year in Kuala Lumpur. Dubbed MTW19, the five-day event brings together Malaysia’s corporates, ecosystem partners, investors, regulators, and tech startups with delegations from around the world.

Organised by the Knowledge Group of companies and supported by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) along with other partner companies, MTW19 will feature activities such as innovation showcases, business matching opportunities, pitching platforms, and access to Malaysia’s tech ecosystem network. Apart from scheduled activities, it also allows attendees to engage and network with other ecosystem stakeholders in a casual setting.

“Malaysia, with its strategic location and diverse culture, has long been a favoured tech foreign investment destination in the Southeast Asia region,” said Surina Shukri, CEO of MDEC. “We are a nation with a rapid-growing tech ecosystem that has so much to offer the world. With that, we would like to welcome tech start-ups, companies, investors and more from all over the world to come witness what Malaysia has to offer right here at MTW19!”

Specific areas of interest include drone technology, fintech, corporate innovation, startup pitching, and business registration in Malaysia.
