Poladrone was founded by Jin Xi Cheong in June 2016, with a vision is to accelerate the drone revolution. The company provides aerial solutions to help businesses optimise their business operations and maximise results. It believes in continuously gathering data using autonomous systems to predict future events through Big Data analytics.

For instance, its machine learning algorithms automatically counts palm trees with high precision for inventory management. The firm’s proprietary neural network categorise palms based on leaf colour for health estimations and disease detection. The sensitive differentiation algorithms compares changes in terrain and infrastructure over time for maintenance decisions.

Founded in September 2015 by Hung Dinh, DesignBold is a visual editing tool. With simple interfaces, the startup gives you every tool necessary to turn your ideas into stunning visual content for web or print media, without any special skills or technical training necessary.

The startup’s next milestone is become a platform where designers and anyone who loves and has designing skills contribute their works and benefit from passive income generated from their designs; and users can search and use the templates they like in less than no time and tell their own stories in the most intuitive way within the shortest time span.

Both the startups will get two seats at Platform E’s co-workings space for 12 months. Additionally, they will get full market access support through 2017 and 2018 alongside Echelon conferences.

More over, both Poladrone and DesignBold will be fast-tracked to the SLINGSHOT@SWITCH powered by Startup SG Grand Finals on 20 September 2017. They will also vie for a US$200,000 grant from SLINGSHOT.

SLINGSHOT@SWITCH aims to give promising startups a platform to showcase their technology and business ideas, gain early exposure to investors, corporates, industry leaders, mentors, media, and tech-savvy early adopters.
