The company has ambitious goals to reach 1 million traveller signups on the platform in the next three years and expand overseas
Malaysia-based online travel platform, Packist, has recently announced its plan to expand as the largest online travel platform in the country.
Starting from a local office with six team members, Packist currently has 40 members in the family within seven months since it was first launched in February 2016. The company aims to cater to travel agencies and travellers. The company will be recruiting up to 100 people for full operations support.
The company claims to be a travel specialist that gathers travel agencies through its Merchant system; allowing them to upload tour packages and making it easy for travel agencies to share travel information with customers directly.

Through the platform, Packist aims to make travel booking easier by helping customers avoid the hassle of going to a travel agency just to browse packages, get a quotation and make payment.
Backed by Beautiful World Tours and Travels Sdn. Bhd., the parent company of Packist, with more than 22 years of experience in travel and tours industry and hundreds of professional travel agencies under its wing, Packist is all set for expansion.
“We would like to bring the concept in booking tour packages online to the world, so now we are all set for expansion,” said Sky Lee, CEO of Packist, in a press statement.

According to Lee, Packist will have overseas offices with Australia as the first stop. More overseas offices will be set up to serve customers in different countries, including Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore and others.
Lee also pointed out that the company has an ambitious goal to reach at least 1 million signups from travellers on this platform in the next three years.
Packist will be having its second travel fair in September. The company claims to offer more than 700 tour packages in over 25 countries, with store-wide discounts up to 70 per cent. Its popular destinations are Indonesia, Australia, European and ASEAN countries.
