The startups are part of a delegation sent by the Korean Mobile Internet Business Association (MOIBA)

Korean startups are becoming rising stars in the global tech landscape, thanks to their home market’s state-of-the-art hi-tech infrastructure and strong economy and a rise in the number — and ticket size — of investments from tech conglomerates such as Tencent and SoftBank.

And while Korean startups are flourishing, South Korea is also looking beyond its shores to woo foreign startups to set up in their country as well as foster cross-border collaborations.

The Korean Mobile Internet Business Association (MOIBA), the country’s largest association of mobile startups, founded in 2009, recently launched an initiative in Southeast Asia to expose Korean startups to regional markets, generate synergies — and potential deal flows — and build and reaffirm long-term ties.

Together with e27, MOIBA launched two roadshows in Malaysia and Thailand, showcasing a batch of 15 early stage (Series A) Korean startups to over 100 stakeholders in the ecosystem.

Without further ado, here are the enterprising startups.
