These six startups will again compete with each other on the second day of Echelon, and the name of he winner will be announced at the end of the event tomorrow

As the first day of Echelon Asia 2017 drew to a conclusion, we are announcing the names of the six category winners of the TOP 100 Fight Club Qualifiers, one of the biggest startup pitching programmes in Asia which was held on the ‘Create’ stage at Singapore Expo today.

These six startups, which were selected from more than 115 companies pitched to a group of panelists comprising managing partners of various leading VC firms in Southeast Asia, will again compete with each other on the second day of the event. The name of the winning startup will be announced tomorrow.

Here is a sneak-peek into the six startups:

Komachine (E-commerce & Marketplace)

Komachine is an online marketplace for machinery and tools used in different industries. Founded by Charlie Park, Komachine is an online platform connecting more than 40,000 machine suppliers from Korea with over three million global buyers. Komachine claims it is the only B2B platform for machines and tools in the country. It supports four languages, allowing machine suppliers to get access to a global market.

MobiPromo (Mobile, Media & Gaming)

MobiPromo is a proprietary, WiFi marketing and monetisation system. It provides an advanced range of Big Data-based in-session advertising of any WiFi marketing system available. The startup provides knowledge and insights into the interests of those entering a user’s environment with a 100 per cent opt-in permission-based solution. MobiPromo is currently deployed in over 50 countries.

Dexecure (SaaS)

Dexecure is a developer tool that automatically speeds up websites. Slow-loading websites can lead to loss of millions of dollars in revenues for companies. Dexecure helps companies address this issue. With the use of sophisticated algorithms, Dexecure speeds up loading times. Since its launch a year ago, it has optimised and served nearly 150 million assets, saving 1.7 TB of data for their clients.

Igloohome (Deep Tech)

igloohome aims to help people manage their homes and properties with minimal effort with its Smart Deadbolt 02 and Smart Keybox – two devices that allow home and property owners to grant access to their properties remotely, via a mobile app. The technology behind the devices involves synchronisation and encryption, similar to that in the internet banking token, and eliminates the need for WiFi connectivity. igloohome is a partner of Airbnb, and is now listed on Host Assist on the Airbnb website globally.

Save Yourselves (Health & Lifestyle Tech)

Save Yourselves is a mental healthcare platform for consultation, education, and suicide prevention in Indonesia. It saves yourself from creating a platform for psychological counselling by providing a fast assistance for suicide prevention. Users can share their complaints, uncomfortable issues, or share anything about your psychological and mental health.

Privy (Fintech)

Privy ID is a digital signature startup providing legally-binding electronic signatures and identity management for all sort of online transactions. The startup offers different types of online signatures for different fields, from human resource management and sales to procurement.
