RedDoorz, Southeast Asia-focussed hotel management, and booking platform announces that it has appointed Jupe Tsui, who’s previously CFO of Oriente and Regional Finance Director for booking.com, as the company’s Chief Financial Officer, and Liviu Nedef, former Head of Marketing at HOOQ, as the Group Senior Vice President of Marketing.

Saberwal noted that the acceleration mission will include creating more robust commercialisation strategies, taking greater control of our operational costs, developing impactful brand campaigns, and enhancing end-user experiences enriched with emerging technologies, all require experienced team members.
As Chief Financial Officer for RedDoorz, Tsui will be responsible for implementing RedDoorz’s financial growth strategy, as well as implementing new financial initiatives. Most recently, Tsui served as Regional CFO for Oriente, a technology and data science company that aims to achieve financial inclusion for underserved communities in emerging Asia.

Tsui was also Regional Finance Director for Booking.com, where he was the head that helped drive exponential growth. “I am excited to be joining a company that is not only disrupting an old and archaic industry, but that’s doing so with such focus and determination for the benefit of the customer and small hotel owners across the region,” said Tsui.
Liviu Nedef assumes the newly formed role as the Group Senior Vice President of Marketing, focussing on making RedDoorz the leading affordable hotel brand in Southeast Asia.
Nedef has led marketing functions for digital, content, and e-commerce brands including HOOQ and Lazada. “I’m thrilled to join Amit and the team with the task of building brand perception, amplifying our stories, and delivering a new perspective to consumers around the region,” Nedef said.
In 2019, RedDoorz raised US$45 million in Series B round of funding, led by Chinese VC firm Qiming Venture Partners, alongside Jungle Ventures and its network of Limited Partners.
It then closed US$70 million as part of its larger Series C funding round, bringing the total of US$140 million fundraisings since its inception in 2015.
As part of the RedDoorz brand network, hotel owners are able to grow their businesses and increase revenues while streamlining their operations. RedDoorz helps partners manage distribution, pricing, marketing, customer experience, and technology solutions – offering an end-to-end platform for the tech hospitality sector.
Across the region, RedDoorz currently operates a network of more than 1,500 properties in over 120 cities spanning Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, and Vietnam. RedDoorz plans to enter Thailand in 2020.
