The partnership will look at expanding institutional user base and asset offerings on Hydra X’s Sigma platform
Seed CX, the institutional digital asset exchange headquartered in Chicago, US, is Singapore-based fintech Hydra X’s new partner. As a part of the partnership deal, Seed CX will offer a licensed exchange for institutional trading and settlement of spot digital asset products through its subsidiaries as well as a market for CFTC-regulated digital asset derivatives.
Moreover, Seed CX will be one of the available trading venues on Sigma, Hydra X’s multi-asset and multi-venue trading platform. Once the integration is complete, users who have accounts with Seed CX will be able to view prices, transact, and monitor their portfolios on the Sigma platform.
For institutional users, they can also get access to fiat-cryptocurrency gateway.
“Our Sigma trading platform aims to create an integrated cross-asset and cross-venue ecosystem by offering a user experience across different asset classes and trading venues. This partnership will be useful in expanding our user base to include institutional traders seeking regulated and secure access to the world of digital assets,” said Daryl Low, CEO of Hydra X.
Hydra X provides technology that includes the use of distributed ledger technology (DLT), to provide mission-critical trading and settlement infrastructure for digital and traditional asset marketplaces.

With its Sigma trading platform aimed at retail and professional traders, Sigma offers a suite of trading tools ranging from price formation to analytics, while facilitating price discovery and asset transfers across multiple exchange and brokers globally.
