Buttercups claims it helps users find their perfect lingerie fit by taking an online quiz

Bangalore-based online lingerie brand Buttercups has raised an undisclosed amount in fresh round of funding from Anand Chandrasekaran, former Chief Product Officer of Snapdeal.

Existing investors Kanwaljit Singh and Manoj Varghese also co-invested.

The funds will help Buttercups accelerate its growth plan, both offline and online.

The unique online quiz, which guarantees a perfect fit and allows us to scale beyond geographic constraints, as well as the personalised fitting rooms experience, are both results of this focus. We also believe that scaling need not come at the cost of profitability.”

Founded in 2013, Buttercups in e-commerce platform for lingerie. The startup helps users find their perfect lingerie fit by taking the Buttercups Quiz online. One can then shop online from a wide range of selection in India.

In addition to its online store, it also has a Buttercups fitting room in Bangalore, where its fit specialists help resolve the user’s size issues and help her find a perfect fit.

Buttercups is currently working towards opening its innovative and experiential fitting rooms across 12 cities.​
