Infofed, an e-sports startup and owner of Thailand E-Sports Arena, has secured an undisclosed amount in pre-Series A round of equity funding from Japanese gaming community GameWith.
The startup will use the proceeds to expand its coverage in Southeast Asia. The firm plans to enter Myanmar, Laos, and Cambodia in 2020.
“There is a huge untapped potential for the e-sports industry in Southeast Asia. The investment from GameWith will help us to establish a stronghold in this region by creating a proper ecosystem for e-sports lovers,” said Jirayod Theppipit, Founder and CEO of Infofed.

Infofed is an e-sports company with both online and offline platforms. Under the cross-platform, it provides a one-stop service for game providers, consumer brands, and e-sports communities. The Infofed ecosystem consists of an e-sports arena, an AI-driven online tournament management platform, an e-sport production and event organiser, and an e-sports streamers and influencers development business.
Previously, Infofed has closed its seed funding round in 2018.
Listed on Tokyo Stock Exchange, GameWith operates a media business, offering game guides, game reviews, community function, and video streaming. Established in June 2013, GameWith acts as an intermediary between players and game companies.
