Appier integrates Axion with LINE – [Press release]

Artificial Intelligence company Appier announced that it has fully integrated Axion into messaging platform LINE. Axion is Appier’s AI-powered data intelligence solution that will enable organisations using LINE Business Connect to generate AI-driven insights from their followers. This integration opens up the potential for real-time, cross-platform marketing.

“We’re delighted that Appier has integrated Aixon and LINE Business Platform. This enriches the functionality for LINE Business Connect customers and will give them deep insights into the usage trend and user behaviour, allowing customers to do more precise data analysis, information filtering and more effective data application, said Benny Wy, Head of Platform Business of LINE Taiwan, in a press statement.

Aixon and LINE Business Connect customers in Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and Indonesia will be able to start using the the integrated platform beginning June 2018.

 

ZAP Philippines inks international deal with KFC – [Press release]

Loyalty programme app has recently partnered with KFC Guam to develop and provide end-to-end support to the fast food giant’s customer loyalty programme.

“ZAP’s technology brings the ease and relevance both to operations and to the consumers. On the marketing side, the technology is distinct to [ZAP] and highly convenient to manage the database and trigger the consumer with messages of the brand,” said Edgar Caper, KFC Guam Marketing Director, in a press statement.

In 2013, ZAP introduced the closed loop model wherein merchants have full control of their loyalty programs as they don’t share points with others. They currently have over 800 partner merchants.

 

Lazada brings Razer Game Store to Southeast Asia – [Channel NewsAsia]

Razor Game Store is coming to Southeast Asia, beginning with Singapore. Razer partnered with Lazada to bring their games to the region via Lazada’s e-commerce platform beginning with Singapore, according to a report by Channel NewsAsia.

First announced in April 5, the Razer Game Store is a digital games distribution platform carrying thousands of games. They are also set to launch in Malaysia and Thailand within the year, followed by Indonesia and the Philippines.

 

Hmlet to launch largest co-living space in Southeast Asia – [Press release]

Singapore-based co-living startup Hmlet is launching it’s second building in partnership with real estate investment firm ANB Investments, according to a press release. Hmlet @ Sarkies will be a 30,000 square foot condominium located at District 11 and is dedicated entirely to co-living. It Hmlet’s second sole co-living building after Hmlet @ Joo Chiat.

“Hmlet’s unique expertise lies in fostering urban communities that change how people interact with one another and thrive,” said Zenos Schmickrath, Managing Director and Co-Founder of Hmlet. “With real estate becoming more expensive and people increasingly feeling the bite of isolated living, we are seeing that co-living is becoming a necessity. We want to make the process of moving and finding a place to live as seamless as possible for all our members, whether they are relocating to a new country or moving from their family home.”

Hmlet was founded in 2016 in Singapore as a tech co-living company. They currently have spaces in Singapore and Tokyo with capacity for 300 members.

 

Noble Vici Group expands to acquiring fintech and e-commerce companies – [Press release]

Singapore’s Noble Vici Group (NVGI) has announced that it has entered into discussions to acquire mobile app and e-commerce developer Noble Infotech Applications Private Limited, and crowdsourcing platform VenVici Private Limited and its subsidiaries.

“NVGI’s growth strategy will be to invest in and develop a global ecosystem comprising of three key pillars: mobile applications, payment systems and a crowdsourcing platform, all of which will be powered by blockchain technology to
ensure secure and seamless integration,” said Sir Eldee Tang, CEO of NVGI, in a press statement.
